So, I was meeting with my Team yesterday. (Yes, my Team. We have expanded the company)
It was our first Team Meeting. I asked each member individually if they knew what our company Vision was? They did not.
I saw this as a HUGE opportunity.
(Whether you are on a team, in a business, family or a Marriage, all the members must be on the same page and share the Vision)

So, you may ask, how do you do that?
As the Entrepreneur CFO,

Well,when I shared this with the team, I realized then that we needed to dive a little deeper.
See most people know that I am a Financial Advisor and Business Coach:
As an advisor, I can offer investments, stocks, mutual funds, retirement plans, life insurance, annuities, etc.
But that is NOT what I do. These are just products that I can offer.
What I do, is GIVE MY CLIENTS PEACE OF MIND.
I do this by helping create a plan.
Peace of Mind comes from knowing exactly where you are, where you want to go and…. how to get there.
See, PEACE OF MIND COMES BEFORE FINANCIAL FREEDOM, not the other way around.
Having a plan allows you to sleep peacefully at night.
Not having a plan gives you stress.
So, let’s stop and recap:
Peace of Mind comes from Creating and Having a plan, Financial Freedom comes from Executing that plan.
Then one of my team members asked, “Perry, what is financial freedom?”
I recently read that financial freedom is when you can make decisions without worrying about finances……
I think financial freedom can be defined this way also,
The point in time when you can rely on your heart to determine your actions without subjecting yourself to the stress of financial lack.
So many times we may want to do things but we cannot because of our finances, such as
Ex. You want to take your family on vacation because you love them, but you cannot because your finances will not allow you to.
So, how do I measure when someone is financially free?
EASY. I learned this from Robert Kiyosaki…..
Wealth is measured in TIME.
If you were to stop actively EARNING INCOME today, how long would you be able to maintain your quality of life with the savings, investments and residual income you have accumulated today?
Is your financial freedom timeline 20 years, 5 years, 1 year or 1 week?
